How your personal data is handled, your rights, and the use of cookies on this site.
The Cercle Vauban cares about the privacy of those who follow it. This page sets out, in plain terms, what data we collect, what we do with it, and the rights available to you.
We collect only what you send us of your own accord through the contact form:
The site carries out no profiling and takes no automated decisions about you.
Your data is accessible only to those responsible for organising the conferences within the Circle, and to the technical providers who host the site and deliver our emails, acting on our instructions. It is never shared, rented or sold to third parties.
We favour providers established in the European Union. No transfer of your data outside the European Economic Area is carried out at present.
Under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 you have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction and objection, as well as the right to data portability. You may withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing already carried out.
To exercise these rights, write to info@cerclevauban.lu. We reply within one month.
If you consider that your rights are not being respected, you may lodge a complaint with the Commission nationale pour la protection des données (CNPD), the Luxembourg supervisory authority, cnpd.public.lu.
This site sets no analytics cookies, no advertising trackers and no social-network buttons.
Only two items are kept in your browser's local storage, on your own device, and are never sent to a server:
These items are strictly necessary for the site to work and therefore require no consent. You may erase them at any time by clearing your browser's site data.
Should audience measurement ever be added, it would be chosen without cookies or individual identifiers, and this page would be updated accordingly.
The site is served exclusively over HTTPS. The data you send us is kept confidential and accessible only to those who need it.
This policy may be amended to reflect changes to the site or to the law. The version in force is the one published on this page.
